Our church is hiring an additional associate pastor who we will train for the pastorate while he oversees our thriving children’s ministry. The ideal candidate will be a man who has a strong call to be a senior pastor, missionary, or church planter. Our goal is to develop young, called pastors, who we can then send off and support after a healthy season of service at our church. Children’s ministry is an ideal microcosm of the church to learn and train in serving families in all areas and ages as a senior pastor.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a clear call to be a senior pastor, missionary, church planter, or revitalizer. 

• Be good with children.

• Appreciate and value our traditional style.

• Be able to preach, while expecting to be trained to preach better.

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Serving with and assisting the pastor in all his pastoral responsibilities.

• Overseeing our already vibrant children’s ministry.

• Working with our other associate pastor as a coherent ministry team.

Salary package total: $50k
